Kharkov: GIZ Ukrainy, 1930. 104 pp., 8vo (180 x 120 mm). With a frontispiece portrait in silhouette of the author by D. I. Mitrokhin. Original wrappers by Malevich. Condition: wrappers slightly discolored, backstrip partially detached. Petnikov was one of the Zaumniki or Transrationalists like Aleksei Kruchenykh and Velimir Khlebnikov. The design of the book blends the old and the new--Mitrokhin from the Silver Age with the Suprematist Malevich. MoMA 884.
