Manfred Wild (b. 1944)
After his apprenticeship to a gemstone trader Manfred Wild teaches himself as an autodidact in the engraver workshop of his father in the fields of art, cutting, engraving and forging gold. With his wife he absorbed the grinding shop for achat from her grandfather Emil Becker in Kirschweiler near Idar-Oberstein in 1970. Wild is special known for his gemstone eggs, which reminds to Fabergé. His clients are Queen Elizabeth II, the Sultan of Oman or the King of Brunei. (ala)
