Full calf, title labels lacking, hinges cracked, some scuffing and loss along spines and edges. A few instances of very light foxing, title with edge-tone, two leaves with small holes (slight loss), overall contents rather clean and a Very Good. ******************************** First edition in English, translated into English by John Kippax from the Spanish of Don Geronymo de Uztariz. Uztariz' most important work. Provenance: The present copy bears the engraved armorial bookplates of John Campbell of Clathick to pastedown of each volume.
