A pewter(?) spoon with pear-shaped shallow bowl, lentoid-section shank and reel-shaped finial; stamped maker's mark to the upper edge of the bowl below the junction with the shank. Cf. Moore, S. Spoons 1650-1930, Aylesbury, 1987, p.5. 36 grams, 15.5cm (6"). Property of a gentleman; found Norfolk.
