Both vols issued without ads. 1st edition, 1st printing with regard to the signings: Vol II, p is signed 1*, so the first leaf of sig 1 is the 1st page of its table of contents. 1st edition, 2nd printing with regard to the spines. (Gilt binders type is just slightly more than 1/8 inch tall, not 3/16 inch.) BAL 6500. Vol IIs Table of Contents omits the credits to Channing as the author of Jamaica Plain and Homeward. 12mo.
