Possibly 6th-7th century.
This medieval ring is made from a flat band of sheet gold rolled at the outer edges. Beaded wire surrounds a square garnet, possibly foiled, and the shoulders are decorated with globules grouped in mirror-image pyramid-shaped patterns.
