Description: A Chinese Ming LongQuan Celadon Jar. Thick potted of bulbous body, rounded shoulder to a waisted short neck, banded rim to wide opening, with slightly splayed foot, and concave base. The exterior carved in shallow relief of lotus blossoms, and various floral-form motifs. All reserved in soft olive-celadon underglazed. The underside rim base left unglazed with orange-brownish firing spots with edge-cut foot rim.
