Description: MOON AND STAR VARIANT KEROSENE STAND LAMP, colorless font with diamond and rib pattern, blue base, brass connector, No. 2 Taplin-Brown collar with patent information. Fitted with a period No. 2 E. Miller lip burner. Probably Adams & Co.

Condition Report: Excellent condition, font and burner undamaged, foot with several expected minute flakes to exterior edge.

Provenance: Collection of William D. "Bill" Ross, Bean Station, TN.

Dimensions: 12 1/2" H to top of collar, 5 1/2" SQ foot.

Exhibited: Parallels Thuro - Oil Lamps I, p. 237, no. 3 bottom.

Medium: Fourth quarter 19th century.
