Under no circumstances will any amount other then the winning bid amount be refunded. Any package refusal by winner bidder constitutes as an unauthorized return and is in direct violation of these general terms and conditions. This type of appraisal is done to protect you (the bidder) in the event of damage or loss of a valuable item. Our appraisals are conducted by independent 3rd party appraisal firms that utilizes Certified GIA Gemologist. Appraisals should be used for verification of gemstone and/or metal weight, size and grade ONLY, not actual value. appraisal value should be considered for insurance purposes ONLY, not actual value, as price varies greatly from retail locations throughout the world. Items should not be purchased with the expectation to resell for appraisal rice, or for profit.
• In the unlikely event we lose our internet connection, VDG reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to cancel the remainder of the auction.

Breach of Agreement
In the event of any disagreement between VDG JEWELRY INC., and the customer, all issues shall be governed, adjudicated and filed pursuant to the laws of the State of California.

Payment of the winning bid amount, buyer's premium and shipping/handling charges will be made at the time the auction is reconciled and invoiced (email), VDG Jewelry Auction with it's sole descrition will process bidders payment after 24 hours by using the credit card on file with utmost care and confidentiality. In the event that no credit card is on file, the Bidder will be directed how to process payment online under VDG Jewelry Auction Credit card payment system. Please also note that we accept other payment method i.e.
PayPal, Wire Transfer, Money Order, Cashier's Check. All major Credit/Debit cards Visa, MasterCard, Discover & American Express are going to be processed by our Authorized.net Merchant Gateway.

Requests for other payment arrangements will only be considered prior to the opening of bidding in any auction. IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCES PAYMENT MUST BE MADE ONLY TO VDG JEWELRY INC.

We provide handling, packing and shipping services solely as a convenience for our Bidders. Because Bidders most often opt for these services, we include an ESTIMATED AMOUNT in the auction invoice.

We ship primarily by USPS courrier service priority mail within a commercially reasonable time following credit of the Bidder's payment to our account. On average, a Bidder may expect to receive their items within 3 to 15 business days following their payment upon bank clearance. The actual cost of shipping will be applied except for promotional offers or special offers where FREE SHIPPING are OFFERED by VDG.

A Buyer's premium amounting to 15% of the winning bid amount will be added to the purchase price of each lot. The winning bidders acknowledge and agree to pay a total of 15% premium on top of the winning bid, plus 3% auction house fee.
