Flötenspielerin (Flute Player). 1963. Vintage unique gelatin silver print on Leonar-autocop (auto-reversal) paper. Circa 132 x 105 cm. Signed and dated by the photographer in pencil in lower right corner and mounted to linen and attached to 2 wooden bars on lower and upper edge for hanging, also titled by the photographer in pencil on verso of upper bar.
Floris Neusüss began making body photograms in 1960. These life-size, artistic renditions of the human form are a major part of Neusüss' body of work and such early prints as the one offered here are rare and unique. - Some traces of use, creasing, otherwise in very good condition.
