Description: Notice. Ruling of two Jerusalem batei din regarding the chaluka of the Österreich -Galicia kollel. A group of chassidim, headed by Mendel Rand, spread rumors, claiming that the kollel was distributing their donations inappropriately. This group promulgated their slander in Eretz Yisrael and throughout the world with their printed work, 'Shimu Harim'. Three people, with the approval of the kollel rabbis, were appointed to inspect the kollel's account books and verified that the libels are completely unfounded. Therefore, Mendel Rand is considered a 'mivazeh' and must ask forgiveness from the Rabbis and administrators of the kollel. Jerusalem, 3rd of Adar, 1907.The names of the 'Peirushim' Rabbis are printed on the bottom of the notice: Chaim Yaakov Shapira, av beit din; Moshe Nachum Wallenstein; Aryeh Leib ben HaRav Elimelech Dov Hershler. In addition to three chassidic Rabbis: Dovid Lipman Shovaks, av"d Kollelot Chassidim; Yosef Yehuda ben Rabbi Dov HaLevi [Strasburg, grandfather of the Melamud-Freilich families, the Dayan of Kosson, author of Yad Yosef, Jerusalem [1898] with the approbation of Rabbi Yehoshua Leib Diskin].
