Description: Double-edged, straight blade, flattened hexagon in section, with central point. On both sides decorated with etched and gilded ornaments. Wooden grip bound with twisted copper and brass wires. Gilded bronze hilt. Ancient military helmet-shaped pommel. Simple bar knuckle-guard, straight square crossguard, symmetrical heart-shaped counterguard. France, turn of 18th and 19th century, length 90 cms, Condition 1-2
