Early Omega chronographs in steel cases with round chronograph pushers are very rare today and highly coveted by the collectors. This watch is certainly one of the most sought after models ' its appeal lies in the unique combination of its features: a magnificently aged black dial, delicately executed chronograph scales and discreet Arabic numerals in union with original Alpha hands, an unrefurbished sharp edged case in outstanding condition. The overall excellent condition of the watch and its aesthetic beauty surely make it a truly outstanding piece. Similar watches are described and illustrated in: "Omega" by Marco Richon, Bienne 2007, page 532ff.
