More About this Item

Description: NEW YORK/GERMANY, 1884-1957 A fine neoclassical motif bronze console table with matching wall mirror by decorative artist Oscar Bach. The table sits on claw feet rising into tapered legs with Corinthian capitol style middle sections topped with figural partial nude female busts. The apron is decorated in a faux malachite finish adorned with a central open work gilt frieze of opposing lions drinking from a fountain book ended by two friezes of fountains. The sides are decorated with open work cartouche friezes. The apron is surmounted by a black and white marble top. The mirror matches accordingly. Truly a fine example of Oscar Bach's work.
Dimensions: Table measures 32" wide by 13" deep by 32" tall, mirror measures 34" tall by 21" wide.
