worked in New York and in Boston. He studied with Charles Hawthorne and at the Art Students League. He exhibited at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art (1910), Art Institute of Chicago (1915), and the Corcoran Gallery (1928). His work is in the collection of the Boston Museum. Gieberich married Richard Miller's widow, and this work comes from the estate of Miller's niece.
