Notes: PROPERTY FROM THE ESTATE OF JUDITH RIKLIS
This watercolor, as well as the following work by Dix(lot 337), are titled and numbered in the Otto Dix sketchbook "Otto/Martha." The subject is one that Dix employed in his 1925 oil Witwe, as well as in a number of watercolors and again in 1957, in two color lithographs.
