Otto Stark (American,1859-1926) Plein Air Artists, oil. 13 1/2" x 10 1/2". Comes with a letter of authenticity written on the back of a photo of the painting, signed by Robt. R. Boykin, stating: "I certify that the painting...is number 119 on a catalogue list of paintings by Otto Stark." Excellent condition in frame behind glass. Highly important member of the Hoosier Group painters. Stark studied in Paris with Boulanger and Lefebvre. He was the founder of the Hoosier Salon, and exhibited there as well. His work is in numerous public and private collections, including the Herron Art Institute, Cincinnati Art Museum, Indianapolis Art Museum, and the University of Kansas.
