Description: PABLO PICASSO
(spanish, 1881-1973)
"PICADOR ET CHEVAL"
1959, printed in 1960, pencil signed, presumably 1 of 20 artist''s proofs aside from the numbered edition of 50, with wide margins, Galerie Louise Leiris, Paris, publisher. Linoleum cut in brown and black on Arches.

Condition Report: Pale light and mat staining. With a few soft handling creases and traces of faint surface soiling. The lowermost bottom right vertical edge with a few short creases located 1-2 mm away from the edge. The upper left margin corner with a 1 1/2 inch soft crease and a harder 1 inch diagonal crease located a few mm from the margin corner edge. A 1/2 inch soft crescant shape crease at the center of the right vertical margin edge. Hinged (with adhesive white linen tape) to the overmat in 2 places at the reverse of the upper margin edge.
No deckled edges. Overall in very good condition.
