1948, numbered 181/200, inscribed ''EDITION PICASSO'' and ''MADOURA'' and with the ''EDITION PICASSO'' and ''MADOURA PLEIN FEU'' stamps on the underside, white earthenware clay with decoration in engobes under glaze.

With some faint surface residue present and with a thin one-inch line of slight wear to the glaze at the outermost 1 inch of the perimeter of the plate at upper right, such that some a small amount of gray has been been exposed. There are two 1/2 inch similar areas on the left. Traces of old felt adhesive tape in an oval shape around the inner perimeter of the underside and attendant glue residue. With a 1 1/2 inch horizontal scratch in the glaze on the underside of the plate, such that some gray has been exposed beneath it. Otherwise in good condition.
