Description: A pair of Chinese decorative finials, Warring States to Han Dynasty, c. 3rd 2nd Century BC, the first a bronze element, perhaps the end of a hairpin, in the form of a dragons head with emerging petal-type element, L: 2 3/8 in (6 cm). The second is a lead floral element from a larger composition, the petals nicely formed with raised detail and a lovely whitish patination. 1 ¾ in x 1 3/8 in (4.4 x 3.5 cm). Ex Southern California estate, acquired mid-20th Century.
