Description: 4 March 1919 Ordinary Shares of £1. black. No 63. Served as a tuberculosis cure station in Montana, canton of Valais. The Alps were a popular destination for such patients as it was believed that the altitude and dry mountain air had beneficial effects. The company was founded in 1906 and liquidated in 1933. The share is signed by Sir Henry S. Lunn (1859-1939). He was a famous English humanitarian and religious figure and founder of Lunn Poly, one of the UK's largest travel companies. He started the trend for British to combine health retreat withwinter sports in the Alps. Only piece known to us.
