PALE CELADON AND RUSSET JADE PENDANT
QING DYNASTY, 19TH CENTURY
finely carved and pierced as a leafy stem bearing two ripe melons, a butterfly perched upon one of the fruits, the whole group borne on two large leaves forming the base, the stone of a greyish-celadon tone with the russet inclusions cleverly worked into the carving
