Description: PANEL-OPTIC AND DECORATED MINIATURE LAMP, pale blue opalescent, tapered form font with bright multi-color enamel decoration depicting a rooster, matching ball-form shade with appropriate matching decoration depicting a hen, brass collar. Fitted with a period Nutmeg burner, colorless chimney.

Condition Report: Excellent condition, font undamaged, shade fitter with normal roughness and top with an interior flake, hen with a bubble which has lost its decoration, each probably as made. Burner undamaged, chimney top with a short crack and fitter with flakes/roughness.

Provenance: Collection of Helen A. Feltner, Winchester, VA.

Dimensions: 4 3/4" H to top of collar, 3 1/2" D base.

Medium: Fourth quarter 19th/early 20th century.
