en octobre 1908
Épreuve d'époque sur papier citrate.
Mention à la mine de plomb au dos : "Mercié".
12 x 17,1 cm (4.7 x 6.7 in.)
En 1868, il remporte le Prix de Rome. Ses premiers grands succès sont "David" et "Gloria Victis", présentés au Salon de Paris de 1872 où ils recoivent la médaille d'honneur.
