Bacchic Nymph inkwell
France
gilt bronze

11.5"w x 5.5"d x 4.5"h

Condition Report: Depicting a resting nymph cradling a grapevine on a naturalistic base, the inkwells in the form of baskets overflowing with grapes. Original patina. Light nicks and scratches consistent with use. Lids to inkwells no longer attached, one slightly loose with wax residue inside. Underside covered with felt.
