Water stains.Blau-weiss was the first Jewish youth movement in Germany. It was established in 1912 when the German youth movements refused to accept Jews into their ranks. There were religious groups, attended by the likes of siblings Yeshayahu and Nechama Leibowitz. This movement espoused 'returning to nature'. In 1922, it adopted Zionism and encouraged its members to learn agriculture as preparation for aliya to Palestine.
