Sabin 13805. First published posthumously in 1624 as Introductio in Universam Geographiam, Cluvers work was the first comprehensive modern geography. Catchwords match between preface leaves *3-**1. Full leather with gilt-decorated spine, marbled eps, edges red-orange. Some portions mildly foxed and/or toned. 2 nonfolding plates trimmed and mounted to inserted leaf. Maps versos have reinforcement at intersection of folds. Images mostly near fine. 4.2 Lb.
