A pair of vases on circular bases, body in light funnel shape with square, curved mouth rim and volute handles on the side
Each wall with ice glass-like etching
Height: c. 17.5 cm
The glass vase are in good condition with usual signs of age and wear. Partly chips gold wear and scratches.
Pierre dAvesn (Pierre Girre)
Pierre Girre, whose artist name is Pierre dAvesn, was a pupil of René Lalique and joined his company in 1915. In 1930, Pierre dAvesn started working for Paul Daum in his branch of the Verreries d'Art Lorrain. His products of glass are of high quality, similar to Laliques works. (lvp)
