Description: PORCELAIN PLAYFUL CAT FIGURAL MINIATURE LAMP, white ground with realistic decoration, seated on a green/brown earth-tone figural rock base underside impressed "B32371" and with an illegible hand painted mark, front paws holding a red ball, yellow-green glass eyes, period collar. Fitted with a period burner, thumbwheel marked "META??AM? MOCKBA", colorless chimney.

Condition Report: (UPDATED 10/20/16) Professional restoration to back, eyes with shedding, collar with denting. Burner deflector with denting and gallery loose and with a small loss, chimney undamaged.

Provenance: Collection of Helen A. Feltner, Winchester, VA.

Dimensions: 6 1/2" H to top of collar, 3 5/8" D base.

Medium: Fourth quarter 19th/early 20th century.
