Description: PORCELAIN SITTING CAT FIGURAL MINIATURE LAMP, white ground with naturalistic facial features, sitting cat on a suitcase with an umbrella being held by front paws, circular base depicting a rock formation with earth-tone shades, underside impressed "RD 47028 / PS / L", yellow glass eyes, opal ball-form shade, period collar. Fitted with a period burner, colorless chimney.

Condition Report: (UPDATED 10/21/16) Undamaged lamp and setup except for some expected glaze flakes to edge of base, lamp with overall scattered undissolved spots of metal, chimney top with an underfill, as made.

Provenance: Collection of Helen A. Feltner, Winchester, VA.

Dimensions: 9 1/2" H to top of shade, 6 1/2" H to top of collar, 3 3/8 x 3 3/4" base.
