Oil on canvas, unsigned. Three-quarter length portrait of a woman seated in front of a window. Woman is wearing a black dress and gold earrings, necklace, brooch, ring, and holding a small book. Imperfections. 30 1/2"h. 25'w., in heavy gilt frame 34 3/4"h. 29 1/2"w.
Restoration work as been done. Painting has been lined and has inpainting on the lower portion of the woman's face as well as in the window area.
