A silver seal matrix with balustered handle and suspension loop, rococo design of a shield within a beaded border, jess with three cinquefoils above. 11 grams, 27mm (1"). Property of a Nottinghamshire, UK, collector; by inheritance. The arms may be a variant of those of the Butterley family with an ermine fess rather than the Butterleys' red one. [No Reserve]
