Description: 16th-18th century AD. A mixed group comprising: an articulating bronze clasp formed as two D-shaped plates with hinge junction, panels of enamel floral bands with ferrous lateral clips and ring (for attachment of a chain to secure the hinge-pin); a bronze finger ring with triangular bezel rosettes reserved against an enamelled field; Eastern European. 163 grams, 2-17cm (3/4 - 6 3/4"). Property of a Surrey collector; acquired in the early 1970s. [2]
