Description: Early 18th century AD. A matched cutlery pair comprising: a fork with three flat tines, lyre-shaped plaque, twisted tapering shank, segmented bolster with rosettes, agate crystal faceted handle with filigree knop finial; a knife with similar bolster, handle and finial, slender single-edged blade with punchmarks 'T' and a dagger. 87 grams total, 20-22cm (8 - 8 3/4"). Property of a Sussex lady; acquired before 1990. [2]
