Description: Early 16th century AD. A gold ring with tapering shank with central rib, shoulder decorated with expanding acanthus leaf pattern; bezel with swag motif around the edge and a five leaf rose shape set with cut diamonds and with central gold bead. 3.03 grams, 18.20mm overall, 17.09mm internal diameter (approximate size British N, USA 6 3/4, Europe 13.72, Japan 13) (1/2"). From an important Twickenham, London, UK, collection; formed 1985-2007. Accompanied by a positive X-Ray Fluorescence metal analysis certificate.
