Description: Pre-Columbian, Mexico Clay Figurine Guerrero, Mexico 300-100 B.C., modeled grayware figurine of a woman, standing with her stub arms at her sides; she wears a tubular sheath dress decorated by suspended feathers at the bottom and has a turban on her head. Applique ear ornaments. Grayware. Very good; some traces of red paint on surface. Provenance: Christie's 5/7/80 auction, lot # 143.
