Richard Mutz (1872-1931) German ceramic artist, early 20th century
Circular vaulted body with high mouth and two angular rounded handles
Glazed in green, blue and brown tones
Height: 16 cm each, diameter: 25.5 cm each
The handle vases are in very good condition. One small bumping with craquelure can be found at the wall of one vase.
Richard Mutz (1872-1931)
The ceramic artist Richard Mutz was particularly well-known in the Art Nouveau for his ceramic works with original glazes. He was a member of the Deutscher Werkbund and co-founder of the Kunsthandwerkersiedlung ('craftspeople settlement') in Gildenhall. (ala)
