Condition A-: horizontal fold; minor abrasion in image. Framed.
Comparable in pose and style to Mucha's 1896 poster for Job rolling papers, Livemont adds opulence to his depiction of the jewels. The image is also exceptional for the effective use of the white outline. While this stylistic element pervades Livemont's work, it stands out much more boldly in a small format and against a dark background. rare
