PROPERTY FROM A PRIVATE COLLECTOR, LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA FANCY COLORED DIAMOND AND GARNET BRACELET, HARRY WINSTON
Designed as a continuous floral motif, set with 15 round diamonds of golden brown hue and 15 near colorless diamonds, altogether weighing 11.69 carats, within borders of 30 marquise-shaped and 30 pear-shaped garnets together weighing approximately 60.00 carats, mounted in platinum, length 7 1/2 inches, stamped with maker's mark for Winston. With leather box signed Harry Winston.
CATALOGUE NOTE
This bracelet was designed to match Halle Berry's 2002 Oscar gown and was worn to the ceremony by Ms. Berry the evening that she won her Oscar for Best Actress for her performance in Monster's Ball. Harry Winston later donated the bracelet to the USC Film-Television 75th Anniversary Gala. At the event, 1,200 keys were distributed, the winning key opening a lock box at the Beverly Hills location of the Winston salon. The consignor of the bracelet held the winning key.
The bracelet is accompanied by a photo of Halle Berry in her Oscar gown with the bracelet on her left wrist.
