(lower left) oil on canvas 101/2 x 181/8 in. (26.6 x 46.1 cm) painted circa 1860 provenance Private Collection, new york William Hart was in Maine at Mt. Desert Island from 1857 to 1860 and is also known to have visited Grand Manan.
