CATALOGUE NOTE
William Lescaze designed the Raymond C. Kramer townhouse in 1934-1935. These chairs, from the fourth-floor conservatory, made up part of the original furnishings of the residence, and date to the period in which Thonet began licensing the model to other firms. They have remained in the original family until the present date.
