Stoutly potted Chinese porcelain fish pot of deep vessel globular body below the banded flat rim, gently waisted toward flat base. Main body decorated with hand painting in cobalt blue underglaze drawing lines filled with pale color of dense leafy uptala, the night lotus blooms. Banded with repeated geometrical patterns under the rim, and foot. The immaculate porcelain body covered with a characteristic silky glaze, pooling on the base slightly veiling the mark. The glaze stopped above the foot, revealed the pale-creme unglazed ground, with the central circle base left white under glazed. Well presented upon a carded wooden tall stand.
Mark on base, a seal mark, of six blue seal script -ZhuanShu- characters, QianLong Reign Period of Great Qing.
