Description: R.M.S. CARMANIA: A mirror from one of her public areas mounted in an oak wood backing and surround with central carved detail to the top of the surround and two rectangular blocked panels. Reverse marked in chalk 366. Size overall 38ins. x 24ins. NB: 366 was the yard number given to Carmania by John Brown of Clydebank. Carmania was broken up at Hughes Bulkow Ltd in Blyth, Northumberland c1931. The mirror was purchased with other material from the ship and placed in a 'Freemasons' Lodge near Blyth.
