Description: [ Railwayana ] A WORKSPLATE Peckett & Sons Ltd No.1662 Bristol 1924. As carried by an 0-6-0ST with outside cylinders, a Peckett Type OX1 that emerged from Works on 19th May 1924. It went to the Warwickshire Coal Company Ltd, at Coventry Colliery, Keresley and was named COVENTRY No.2. It became NCB property at Coventry Colliery on 1st January 1947. In April 1963 it went to Andrew Barclay at Kilmarnock and was transferred to Arley Colliery on its return, but later, by September 1968 it had gone back to Coventry Colliery. It was scrapped on site by T.W. Ward in September 1969. Oval engraved brass, 12 x8.25, with its back lugs intact. In fine, ex-loco condition.
