Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Nayarit, ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE. This is a round-bottomed olla whose narrow spout is a human head. Arms rise from the sides of the body to rest behind the head; the body is decorated with black, red, and cream designs which remain very clearly. This type of figure was made to be placed in a tomb. Size: 3.15" W x 3.75" H (8 cm x 9.5 cm)
