Cal. 74. 41-1/4" part oct bbl, dated 1831 at the rear. Lockplate is engraved "Saarn." and "OHIO." is stamped in large letters at the wrist and on the left side of the stock. The correct bayonet with 18-3/4" blade carries the number "64". The rear sling swivel is missing. NSN. CONDITION: Rust-brown patina on bbl, smooth gray-blue patina on lock and hammer. Stock has normal handling marks. The bayonet is heavily rusted. Action is good, but the nipple not tightened. 4-48502 FS173.
