Cal..58, 33" bbl. Dated 1863 on bbl and lock. This is an unused specimen, which has slight damage due to poor storage. CONDITION: There is some light surface rust mixed with dried grease and oil on the hammer and rear of the bbl. There are some oil stains on the stock, but the inspector marks are crisp. Spare nipple remains inside the patchbox. There is one scrape on the left side near the forearm tip. Bayonet is unmarked except for the "BH" inspector mark and is fine with a crack in the finish on the middle of the scabbard. Equipped with a wooden tompion. There is a spot of rust on the bbl below the bayonet. FS862 4-47517.
