Description: Republican Roman thick walled hollow gold ring set with a rare obsidian intaglio of Athena seated on the right in left profile, wearing a Corinthian helmet, working a bronze Cuirass (armoured chest plate) with a mallet. Intact, 1st Century BC, Italy.
Ring size is approximate, since ancient rings are not perfectly round.
