This Rolls Royce Silver Spirit 2 was imported to Germany from Japan in December 2014. Duties were paid.
The Bosch K-Motronic was used in the Rolls Royce Silver Spirit 2 as injection- and ignition system. A hydropneumatic is used on the rear axle. ABS was available as standard feature, just as it was the case with the electronic stability control. The Mk. II, as well as the Mk. I, was offered in different sizes as Silver Spirit II and Silver Spur II. For the first time more vehicles with a long wheelbase than with a normal wheelbase were sold. As of 1991 a model that was 711 mm (28 inch) longer than the Silver Spirit was offered under the type designation Silver Spur II Touring Limousine. In 1991 production of the representative limousine Rolls-Royce Phantom VI was stopped, which must be seen in connection with the introduction of the extended Silver Spur Touring Limousine. Slight optic modifications (e. g. different wheel caps) were not enough to make for a real difference in appearance between the Mk. II and its precursor. In order to comply with American vehicle registration regulations, models from the generations Mk. I and Mk. II were offered with double headlamps. After these regulations were abolished in 1993, all vehicles world-wide were equipped with the common standard headlamps.
