Description: Ancient Roman Bronze Oil Lamp ,ca. 1st century CEA wonderful and highly detailed lamp. The body has the shape of the head of a Nubian, with all the features well marked. His hair is shown in tight, round curls. His brow is furrowed, which gives him a rather angry look. The nozzle of the lamp projects from his open mouth. There is a circular filling hole at the top of his head, decorated with hair ,The circular base shows concentric moldings .Provenance: Ex NY private collector .Size : 12 cm x 6 cm
